God is AWESOME Racing - 2010 review
Overall, 2010 was a good year for the God is Awesome racing team. We took the racing a little less
serious in 2010. I only ran 35 IMCA sanctioned races compared to 50 in 2009. Tyler ran 25 nights this
year, also down from his total IN 2009. I was not concerned with points racing; this took the pressure
off and made the bad nights of racing not so bad.
I want to take this time to thank all of our sponsors, without them keeping the cars maintained and
doing the traveling would be more difficult.

Tyler finished 6th in points at Abilene Speedway even after missing two racing nights one for Sr. Prom
and the other for mechanical failure in hot laps. He had a strong year with 9 top five finishes, 17 top ten
finishes and no major wrecks.
I ended up with 6 wins and 17 top five finishes. Finished 5th in points in Abilene, 12th in IMCA South
Central Region, 10th in IMCA Texas State points.
Looking forward to a great 2011 season.
We will race primarily at Lady Luck in Lubbock and Abilene Speedway this year while hitting a few
special shows at Kennedale Speedway Park and Boyd Raceway.
I will be racing a 2010 Hughes Modifed and Tyler will have his 2008 Big Chief and 2011 Clonch sport
mod.
We continue to enjoy the relationships and camaraderie with the people we race with just as much as
we enjoy the racing.
